VRF Air Conditioning Systems
The VRF Air Conditioning System controls the flow of refrigerant depending on the changing capacity requirements of the building.
What is VRF?
VRF stands for Variable Refrigerant Flow. It is an air conditioning system where one outdoor unit and more than one indoor unit are controlled. A VRF Air Conditioning System controls the flow of refrigerant based on the changing capacity requirements of the building. VRF Air Conditioning System consists of outdoor units located outside the building and indoor units used to cool and / or warm the living spaces inside the building.
The biggest feature of VRF air conditioning systems, which is separated from classical split air conditioners; Variable gas flow rate and energy saving to keep users at the highest level of comfort. With maximum care and respect for the environment, the system provides enhanced application flexibility focused on energy savings. It provides full independent control of any new or existing building from a multi-storey plaza to a single villa.
How Does the VRF System Work?
A VRV air conditioning system consists mainly of an outdoor group of outdoor units, multiple indoor units connected to it, a management system with precise control capacity, a copper pipeline and refrigerant to circulate in the pipeline.
Copper pipes (liquid and gas) coming out of the outdoor unit circulate the system between the indoor units and return to the outdoor unit.
Thanks to advanced management technology, individual sections are managed separately and air-conditioning is provided only for the required environments.
The system’s brain is composed of DC inverter compressors that can precisely control the capacity demand transmitted from the indoor units and modulated fluid control valves in the indoor unit that control the flow of gases passing through the room.
